I’m one of those people who will invite you to dinner and try a recipe I’ve never made before. Actually, I rarely follow recipes exactly. Experimentation is the fun part, the what will happen if, the I bet a little of this will make it better. After all, what’s the worst thing that can happen, we order pizza?

What do I really love? Travel- I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to visit all 50 states and so far five continents. Antarctica was supposed to be 2020, then winter 2022, maybe fall????. My favorite destinations are the less traveled, the unexpected surprises. Sure Venice is great, but you knew that. But did you know that Slovenia is beautiful, Zambia fantastic?

What else? I love to cook, to bake bread, to try different wines. I play at gardening. The creative piece is what I enjoy, weeding not so much (I’ll bet I’m not alone in that!) And I like to hike, to be outside, to watch the changes nature brings each day.
So it’s time for an adventure. Maybe on the road, in the kitchen, or in the back yard. Come along- let’s see what we find.
Do I sound like a dilettante, afraid of commitment? Having spent a 35 year plus professional career responsible for the operations, budgets, personnel, locations and marketing for a statewide not for profit organization while running a household, managing a husband and raising three children, I think I am just exploring a period of well earned freedom. I do have a consulting practice, helping not for profits examine where they are and plot a course to where they want to be. But that’s not why you are here.
What People Say
Not all those who wander are lost. Maybe they turned the GPS off on purpose.
Apologies to J.R.R. Tolkien
There is nothing wrong with being lost. Every discovery began with a wrong turn somewhere.
Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.
